What is Assisted Therapy?

There’s a lot of curiosity and sometimes uncertainty around what psychedelic assisted therapy actually is.

In accordance with current Australian legislation, I am not a licenced prescriber of psychedelics,

but I can support people in the preparation, facilitation and integration of therapeutic psychedelic journeys.

I am trained in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and a Certified Level 2 IFS (Internal Family Systems) Psychotherapist

with a degree in psychology and completing a Masters in Counselling.

So let me gently bring you into the experience.

Psychedelic assisted therapy is not a quick fix.

It’s about creating a space where you can finally meet yourself safely, honestly and with support.

When you work with me, the process is held within a deeply person-centred, trauma-informed framework grounded in

evidence-informed psychology, nervous system safety, emotional regulation, compassion and deep inner healing

and expansion.

You are never alone in the process.

You are guided, supported and respected every step of the way.

Where Science Meets Sacred.

We work with anxiety

They work through powerful mechanisms such as:

Neural Plasticity – supporting the cognitive brain’s cognitive processes

create new, healthier connections and change perceptions.

Emotional Processing – allowing safe access to buried emotions and traumas for release and healing.

Ego Dissolution – softening rigid identities and limiting beliefs, opening the way for greater authenticity and freedom.

We work with anxiety, depression, attachment styles, inner child healing, behaviour patterns, trauma and fears, emotional processing and nervous system regulation.

Research shows that Assisted Therapy can increase neuroplasticity to break free of conditioned patterns and expand perspectives. This cultivates greater self-compassion, gratitude, self-trust and self worth.

Beyond healing, psychedelics may inspire

Frequently Asked Questions

What is psychedelic assisted therapy?

Worth Assisted Therapy is a guided process that supports individuals to prepare for, navigate and integrate transformative experiences with intention, safety and self-awareness. Through preparation, psychoeducation and personalised integration support, clients are empowered to make sense of the insights, emotions and perspectives that emerge. Together, we transform insight into action, supporting deeper self-understanding, authentic living and a stronger connection to self, others and the world around us.

Is psychedelic assisted therapy legal?

Since July 2023, certain psychedelics have been legally available in Australia for prescription by authorised psychiatrists to treat conditions such as PTSD and treatment-resistant depression. In accordance with current Australian legislation, I am not a licenced prescriber of psychedelics, but I can support people in the preparation and integration of therapeutic psychedelic journeys.

How do you support therapeutic use of psychedelics?

I offer comprehensive support throughout all stages of the psychedelic process: preparation (setting intentions and creating a supportive environment), psychoeducation and guidance, as well as post-session integration to help process and apply insights effectively.

Why is integration so important?

A psychedelic experience may open the door to profound insights, emotions and new perspectives, but integration is what helps those insights become lasting change. Integration provides a safe and supportive space to reflect on what emerged, make sense of its meaning and explore how it relates to your life, relationships and sense of self. It is the bridge between insight and lasting growth, ensuring the experience embeds as deeper self-understanding and meaningful change aligned with your values and worth.

Is everyone eligible for an assisted experience?

No. Screening is an essential part of the process. Some physical health conditions, medications, psychological concerns or personal circumstances may mean this type of experience is not appropriate.

What happens during the screening intake?

The screening intake explores your goals, relevant medical and psychological history, current wellbeing, medications, support systems and any potential contraindications.

Are the complementary modalities a replacement for psychotherapy or medical care?

My core service is qualified evidence based psychotherapy. The complementary modalities within the 6-week Integration offering include Human Design, energy healing, ritual practices and PSYCH-K® are complementary practices offered as optional supports for reflection and personal wellbeing. These services are not emergency or crisis services and are not a replacement for psychiatric, psychological or medical care. Outcomes vary, and no specific therapeutic or personal result can be guaranteed.
